Location: This position will operate out of our office in Waterloo, ON.

Schedule: 8-hour shift,  Monday to Friday

Construction Project Coordinator Position:

Stonerise Construction is a progressive developer/ builder with a proven track record of success and a substantial future ahead! Current projects located in Southwestern Ontario include residential high rise, midrise, and mixed-use developments. We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and eager Construction Project Coordinator to join our team.

This is a position of stability and growth directly supporting the President’s daily development activities. This person must be a self-starter, effective, and smart with outstanding communicative skills coupled with an energetic ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities of the Construction Project Coordinator include:

  • Managing calendars, meetings, and schedules for projects and events, both internal and external
  • Presentation support including PowerPoint slides, speech outlines, and graphic presentations
  • Professional correspondence to City officials, planners, and consultants.
  • RFP responses, tenders for consultant proposals, scope analysis, contract administration
  • Abstracts from consultant reports
  • Assisting with research and Due Diligence tasks related to sourcing new development sites
  • Technical review of Architectural plans to confirm compliance with known development standards along with tracking of comments and corrections
  • Updating design and product standards including research for new products
  • Updating checklists and tracking tools
  • Other ad hoc tasks/duties as required


The qualified candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Post-secondary education in architectural technology or relevant field required
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role in planning and/or architecture
  • Will be flexible and enjoy pivoting from task to task throughout the day
  • A can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn
  • Attention to detail and great organizational skills
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal, especially over the phone
  • Proficiency with various computer software programs including all Microsoft Suite applications, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with CAD is also an asset.
