The Barrel Yards is growing! Stonerise Construction is proud to be working with Silverlake Developments to bring another segment of the Barrel Yards community to Uptown Waterloo. By the fall of 2021, Tower I, a 22-storey tall structure with 236 luxurious suites will be added to our skyline. If you’ve been watching our cranes at work for the past few months, here’s an update on how Tower I is coming along.
As Waterloo grows, so does the need for additional suites. Located beside The Onyx, Tower I will be available for occupancy by the summer of 2021. With this new development, we are anticipating Tower I to bring further residents, business and buzz to the core of our city.
So far, Tower I’s concrete structure has been completed up to the 10th floor and the windows have been installed up to the 7th. We’re currently focusing on finishing up the interior framing of each level, so we can start putting in all mechanical and electrical rough-ins like plumbing and HVAC. We’ve made some great progress with Tower I and are so excited to continue working our way towards completion!
The Barrel Yards has been an ongoing project that Stonerise Construction has been a part of since the earliest stages of building, and we’re thrilled to announce that Tower I will be joining this vibrant community in 2021.
