A Year in Review 2020

Heading into 2021, we know many things are still uncertain — but one thing is for sure: we can’t wait to continue to support our community by innovating and moving forward! We’re looking forward to sharing some of our exciting 2020 projects, milestones and defining moments as this year of many changes comes to a close.

We kept our people safe and healthy.

In 2020 and always, taking every possible precaution to keep our employees, clients and stakeholders safe and healthy has been our number one priority at Stonerise Construction.

Over the years, Stonerise Construction has earned a reputation for quality and attention to detail for construction services in Southwestern Ontario. In keeping with these values, site safety is of the utmost importance to us. This year, we shared our top construction safety tips on our blog so you can learn more about how to integrate safety into your business processes.

In addition to this commitment and our quick response to COVID-19, we continue to follow and prioritize safety regulations to develop solutions for our local community. By helping employees and employers understand the importance of safety and providing them with guidance and support, we keep the wellbeing of our workers top of mind when it comes to safety on the job site — and it shows.

Our expertise in relation to safe construction processes even shared by Canadian HR Reporter and Daily Commercial News!

Our projects are still moving forward.

Although two of our four projects back in April were deemed non-essential by the Ontario government and had to be temporarily shut down, we were granted a unique opportunity to focus more of our time and energy on other development projects.

At first, this meant continuing work on two residential towers in The Barrel Yards development, Arrow and Tower I. We’ve also made progress on The Bow, part of our Arrow Lofts project!

We’ve also been lucky to have had our projects be featured in the news! You can read about our progress on The Metz as covered by CTV News and The Record.

We shared the love with our trade partners.

This has been an extremely challenging year for many. We wouldn’t be where we are today as a community without the people and organizations that make this industry great.

The team here at Stonerise Construction is fortunate to collaborate with a long list of dedicated trades on each of our projects. It only felt appropriate to share some of the great work our fellow community members have been up to.

We’re excited to see what next year has in store for us, our clients and our community. We can move forward and even exceed our expectations as long as we have the drive and enthusiasm to continue on! Thank you for another great year at Stonerise Construction.
